I enjoyed reading this book about the struggles of Michael in searching for who he was. His struggle growing up and feeling different and unsure of who he really was. Adopted children or even children in foster care have the same struggles. Their identity of who they are, where do I come from, who am I is not only in childhood but throughout their entire life if they do not find the answers of who they are. The secrets in adoption as not all mothers willingly gave up their children for adoption. Ireland was not the only country to do this. The book shows the struggles a person goes through to prove who they are but never really finding what they are looking for. A child lost is what I call it. A very good read if you are interested in the subject of adoption and how one feels as an adoptee.Read full review
