You are looking at a sample pack of genuine 'D Line' trunking. Dline is absolutely great for covering the messy cables anywhere in the house. Ideal for runs up to LCD TV wall brackets, or along walls to surround sound speakers etc. Basically anywhere you want to hide wires or pipes, this cable will normally be fine. It is easily fixed to the wall etc, with the self adhesive strip on the back, but can also be screwed or tacked for extra security. THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SAMPLE PACK CONTAINING: an approximate 1cm length of each of these sizes and types of trunking: Dline half round trunking 1 x 16mm x 8mm 1 x 30mm x 15mm 1 x 50mm x 25mm 1 x 60mm x 30mm and Dline Quadrant trunking 1 x 30mm x 30mm 1 x 22mm x 22mm You will receive a sample of all the colours available Magnolia White Black Silver/Aluminium Wood effect red Please note: the 22mm x 22mm quadrant trunking is only available is white or wood colour. Red colour is only available in 16mm x 8mm or 30mm x 15mm The sample pieces may be rough cut and may have some superficial damage, but after all, they are only for use to gauge the size and colour you need. Joining pieces and corners can also be purchased in our shop.
Using D-Line, at last it is possible to hide wires (or pipes) in easy-to-use profiles that simply blend with décor. In the D-Line product family there are seven profiles; 2 quadrants, and 5 semi-circular options with bases from 16mm up to 60mm width. D-Line semi-circle profiles are ideal for cable drops, and above skirting tops for example. These are flush-fitting so a smooth alignment is achieved between length and accessory. The unique design enables a perfect finish. All lengths are self-adhesive, and have a revolutionary hinged and click-lock lid. Being a single piece makes easier handling and fixing. Most profiles are available in a choice of colours so users can blend the profiles to walls, or create a striking visual feature if preferred. Can you rely on the self-adhesive for permanent fixing? We do know many satisfied users will use tape only (and risk consequences) for speed and ease of installation, especially on floor quads, 16x8, 30x15. As a responsible manufacturer we do however recommend for best practice that installers always use a secondary fixing, be it rawlplugged screws into plaster, or tacks into timber, say one per 500mm. Can I just use D-Line as a trim? Of course, as a frame or edging it’s easier than solid woods with no need to mitre corners for example. It is quicker to fix than wood, and of course looks great with usually no need to paint later. We know of customers who are using D-Line as frames for internal doors. Is the clip-opening child-proof? Yes, a lot of time and trial-and-error was spent achieving the best trade-off between accessibility and security. D-Line is best opened by applying finger pressure just above the clip mechanism.
