The build quality quite solid and it has a button to switch between all the ports. It also remembers the last input it was using after it gets unplugged which is great if you're going to use it to make random things portable. Like my TI-99/4A! Why did I make a 40+ year old computer portable? Good question, but that's not important the important thing is that you can do that with little effort and its perfectly suited for this application if that's your thing... but you can absolutely use this in a similar way to make just about any game console or retro computer portable with minimal effort.

For the price the monitor is a great deal compared to other alternatives. It can be powered via usb c and also has VGA and hdmi inputs which is also very convenient. The screen quality is also great.

I am using this as a remote monitor for my Nikon Camera. So far it has been used to take about 500 photos and has done the job very well. The only minor issue is the small amount of overscan both H & V but it does what I need and I am very satisfied with it. I would use this again for other projects.
