Author Biography
Alberto Sols holds a MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (Madrid Polytechnical University), a MSc in Systems Engineering (Virginia Tech) and a PhD in Systems Engineering (Stevens Institute of Technology). He has twenty four years of industry experience (sixteen of which teaching part-time as industry professor at Comillas University, Madrid). Since 2008 he is full time with academia, and currently is Full Professor with HSN University (Norway), in its Master in Systems Enigneering program. Alberto has co-authored over thirty five technical papers, was co-editor in a series of 16 monographs on systems engineering, is the author of the book 'Fiabilidad, mantenibilidad, efectividad: un enfoque sistemico' (Reliability, maintainability, Availability - A systems approach), is co-author of the book 'Gestion Integral de Proyectos' (Integrated Project Management), author of the book 'Systems Engineering - Theory and Practice'. 'Requirements Engineering and Management - A Systems Approach' is his last book.
