Have you got a 2" or 3" lift and not done your castor bushes yet? I bet it wanders all over the road. It's almost like having to deliberately steer it straight, and on a dead straight road, it just jumps into another direction for no reason? That’s Caster problems, some people don't notice how bad it is until they get the job done, and then they swear by castor correction.
When you lift your coil sprung vehicle, the front radius arms rotate the diff as if the diff pinion has been lifted. The diff housing rolls forward and downward, the sheer weight of the vehicle tends to bias the steering to either the left or the right, but not centre.
Castor is the amount of diff roll. Camber is the leaning in of wheels and Toe-in is the alignment of the front wheels pointing slightly toward each other as if both left and right wheels will eventually meet 100m in front of the car.
The offset castor bushes roll the diff back to standard. There are grades of castor correction. Most people only need 2 degree for 2 and 3 inch lifts (this kit).
An alternative to bushes is castor plates or drop boxes (for Nissan Patrols) or Radius Arms.

Warranty

Warranty offered extends to the original purchaser only,
Warranty period on all items is a minimum 12 months, unless otherwise stated on the product details, or extended by manufacturer,
Manufacturer’s warranty is offered by the manufacturer not Road Runner Offroad, Road Runner Offroad will liaise to ensure you are cared for,
If you have a Warranty claim please contact us with proof of purchase. |
What Can Be Returned?
Road Runner Offroad will accept any of our products for return if there is a fault with the
product or the customer is unhappy with the performance of the item within a set time period.
If it is a branded product that we have sold for another ‘manufacturer’, the return will
be passed onto the ‘manufacturer’ to be determined by the ‘manufacturer’ if a warranty or refund will be accepted.
Road Runner Offroad will not be held liable for another manufacturer’s return policy.
The original copy of the invoice must be provided to Road Runner Offroad.
Road Runner Offroad will not refund or exchange a product because you ‘simply changed your mind’.
We will accept returns up to a maximum of 7 days from delivery date.
Warranty is different from returns and depends on the particular parts, manufacturer and circumstances of
the claim.
If a "part" is fitted incorrectly and is the cause of the "part" being faulty Road Runner Offroad will not exchange/Refund or replace the part. |
Where Do Customers Return Items?

Products must be returned from the original place of purchase,
The parts must be sent with a copy of the original tax invoice with up to date contact details and a typed letter explaining what the problem is with the parts supplied
as well as your account details or credit card details to Road Runner Offroad,
Parts must be placed on a trackable freight Carrier and Road Runner Offroad will not be held liable for lost freight, and will not pay or replace lost freight if we did not organize the freight. |
Who Pays For Returns?

Parts that are fitted incorrectly and cause the part to be faulty, Road Runner Offroad will not pay for Freight,
When a return is not due to a manufacturers fault, the customer must pay freight costs to Road Runner Offroad,
20% restocking fee will apply for products that are not faulty,
If Road Runner Offroad has sent you the wrong part, we will pay full cost of freight,
Parts to be returned for assessment are to be paid by the customer, If approved Road Runner Offroad or manufacturer will reimburse the cost of freight. |
Credit For Return?
|
If a return has been approved and the customer would like the money returned, Road Runner Offroad will only return the money to the EFT/PayPal account or credit card number that the original invoice was debited to. |
Packaging Materials
If products are returned in damaged and / or not the original packaging, the cost of the packaging will be taken off the refund amount.

It is up to the Person fitting the products to make sure the parts do work correctly and are fitted
correctly and are the correct parts prior to fitting.

It is up to the buyer(s) to check with their state department if the parts can be fitted and used on public roads that they intend to use the vehicle on.
Road Runner Offroad does not give permission for a buyer(s) or fitter(s) to fit and or use the products on a vehicle intended for use on a public road. |
