With the sanding an osilating blade this works very well. I used it to cut drywall the same day I received it. Used it to sand a couple nights ago. For the price you can not beat it. I've got 20 some ryobi tools there is not one that I dislike. I do this as a profession also daily. I'm a DIY guy at home. Me and one my guys had this discussion this morning about being a DIY brand or pro brand he also uses all ryobi lol. There is a very thin line but it's closing fast. Love seeing those disputes online. Thanks guys

I bought a reconditioned one because i wanted to see if it was worth it. But it worked for a day and now it motors up but blade stops upon contact with matierial you wish to cut.

The Ryobi multi-tool is sturdy, well built and designed, as well as powerful. I would rate it as low-mid contractor grade quality. It would get an even higher rating if it were brushless. This tool is going to see some serious use/abuse in my tool set, though I initially wondered whether I would even have a use for one. Now that I have seen how they work, and what they can do, I am impressed. What sets a RYOBI JobPlus apart from the pack is that you can use Ridgid brand multi-tool heads on the Ryobi power-plant body and batteries, giving you the option of a tool-free multi-tool head, metal shears, one-hand sawzall, right angle drill, right angle hex impact, 3/8 ratchet, impact nailer, and whatever other head Ridgid designs for their JobMax multi-tool. The lockup and drive mechanisms between the Ryobi JobPlus and the Ridgid JobMax are exactly, and I mean exactly the same. This plus makes it a winner even when compared to really high dollar brands. As with any Ryobi One tool, it is completely backwards/forwards compatible and will use factory and/or aftermarket Lithium Ion, NiMh, or Nicad battery packs.Read full review

i have the sawzall, right angle, drill, jigsaw, and multitool attachments. all come through in a pinch. I wore out the first one I bought so now I use the old one for all but the oscillating function because the head got loose. Otherwise this tool has been beat on. It does overheat on bigger jobs and then stops running, but before it ruins itself from overheating.
