David and Kate are a match made in hell. He's her psychiatrist, she's a rock star recovering from a nervous breakdown. When David buys and old Charleston mansion and asks Kate and her small son to move in with him, the relationship becomes a curse more horrifying than her twisted hallucinations. Bones in the attic, the diary of a slave-trading madman and a series of bizarre deaths find David and Kate at each other's throats. Their arguments become more violent, bloodcurdling vision of monsters and murders...but are they real, or only a recurrence of Kate's "special" problems? And who is she supposed to trust, if not her own beloved doctor?
