I compared this phone with a S3 phone i purchased from Optus and the Key features look the same. The battery life appeared to be quite good and the overall functionality also appears to be good. I have found No issues so i purchased a second S3 for my father. Thanks!

I bought the s3 to update from my s1. I prefer the android operating system to others available. This phone is way better than the s1 - its super fast, the cameras are great and the thing I like best is the screen; aside from being huge for a phone, is so clear. No pixelation and gorgeous definition and colour. I have a tendancy to use it as a mini computer for the social apps and the browser but even without all the bells and whistles its very easy to get used to. The dropdown screen settings make gps, wifi, powersaving and a few other options easier to find and quickly use than in the s1. Some of the new widgets are quite handy too. It did seem quite large when I first got it but it still fits in the hand easily and the size hasnt been a problem when making calls. Texting and typing are so much easier than with smaller phones. The battery life is average for a smartphone. I charge mine every night with moderate to heavy use and every second, sometimes third night with low use. If something happened to my hanndset and I needed a new one I'd probably get another s3.Read full review
I bought it specially to try the new features of what they say they can do with this phone. Like almost everything, the specs, the UI etc but not the battery life and sometimes too lagging if you load up a lot of customizations. This is probably the best performing and feature packed Android smart phone out there. It does everything pretty well however with the compromise of lot of battery juice and a bit of performance.
Large clear screen easy to use features great alternative to an iPhone direct competitor! Fits in the hand well and is slim line and light. I've experienced no problems or annoyances yet def recommend this phone to those out there up grading and stuck between the choice of the iPhones.
