About Me

MY SELLING POLICY

This is a very good Solid Silver Pepper. It is of a cylindrical shape and has a pierced decoration to the sides. It has a domed twist and pull off lid, that locks in place when twisted over a couple of little lugs on the base. It has a raised circular base and is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks. It comes complete with its blue glass liner

Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM

Date: 1912/13

Makers Marks: H & H (Harrison & Hipwood)

Dimensions: 3.25 inches tall to the top of the finial and it is 1.25 inches in diameter. The silver weighs 28g (without the glass liner)

Condition: It is in very good condition

Remarks: This is a very good pepper that would look sweet on any table

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in "as new condition".
