DESCRIPTION: Payment by Mail is OK! This auction is for a small tin that held Sweetrest Tablets which was a pain tablet for Headaches, Neuralgia, Colds, Fever, Lumbago, Toothache, Earache, Grippe, and Rheumatism. Wow! What a quack medicine. It was manufactured by the sweet Rest Co., St. Louis, Missouri. However, it is the tin that is absolutely wonderful. It measures 2-3/4" by 1-3/4" and has the graphics of a little girl with her doll sleeping in a hammock. Other than a lightly worn spot in the center on the bottom of the tin, it is about as close to mint as you will ever find. A super tin for any medicine or tin collection. This is tin LITHO. IT is not a paper label. It is just as found. Has not been cleaned. Although the pills are no longer inside, it has an advertising paper and some sort of cupon stamps inside. Please look at the pictures. If you have questions, ask them. I will answer them all. I am offering this tin for your collection with NO RESERVE. Good Luck!

When condition is debatable, I try to understate the rating so that the buyer will always be satisfied. It is important to point out that I do not polish, buff, or repair any item I sell. Items are sold just as I collected them. It is my policy to leave all decisions to restore or repair an item to the new owner. Should I decide to sell an item that I have restored, I will tell you so in the description.
