Small LITHO ~SWEETREST~ Tablet Tin Early 1900s from St. Louis - Great Graphics
DESCRIPTION: Payment by Mail is OK! This auction is for a small tin that held Sweetrest Tablets which was a pain tablet for Headaches, Neuralgia, Colds, Fever, Lumbago, Toothache, Earache, Grippe, and Rheumatism. Wow! What a quack medicine. It was manufactured by the sweet Rest Co., St. Louis, Missouri. However, it is the tin that is absolutely wonderful. It measures 2-3/4" by 1-3/4" and has the graphics of a little girl with her doll sleeping in a hammock. Other than a lightly worn spot in the center on the bottom of the tin, it is about as close to mint as you will ever find. A super tin for any medicine or tin collection. This is tin LITHO. IT is not a paper label. It is just as found. Has not been cleaned. Although the pills are no longer inside, it has an advertising paper and some sort of cupon stamps inside. Please look at the pictures. If you have questions, ask them. I will answer them all. I am offering this tin for your collection with NO RESERVE. Good Luck!
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You are welcome to bid on any or all of my items, but I will not be responsible for them reaching your Country safely. I will ship outside of the United States by Registered Mail or First class International Air Mail. First Class International Air Mail will cost less, but you must recognize that First Class is not as safe as Registered Mail. I will ask you to tell me how to ship your item after purchase and also for you to verify and accept responsibility for loss or theft. It is the only way I can protect myself from buyers claiming they did not receive the package. DO NOT bid on my items if you are not willing to accept these terms.
PAYMENT: In addition to PayPal I will accept other methods of payment should you so desire.
SHIPPING: I DO NOT try to make money on shipping. There are no handling fees. Do keep in mind when completing the SHIPPING COST FEEDBACK RATING that mailing suppies: i.e., bubble wrap, plastic protectors, envelopes, padded envelopes, tape, etc., are not free to me. Also, Please remember that when you pay with PayPal , they charge me a fee which is based on both the selling price plus postage fees. All items are shipped either with delivery confirmation or Insurance. All items are shipped by the US Postal Service unless we agree to something else, or an item requires to be shipped by ground transportation, then I use your preference. I do not ship everything by Priority Mail. If weight or size dictates Priority Mail then so be it. Otherwise, I will ship First Class Mail which is usually only a day later.
GRADING and CONDITION: I only list original antiques and collectibles. I believe you will find that my descriptions are accurate -- without embellishment. My condition rating system is: poor, fair, good, excellent or mint. Sometimes the condition has a modifier such as near, plus or very. I seldom list an item with a condition below fair plus. When condition is debatable, I try to understate the rating so that the buyer will always be satisfied. It is important to point out that I do not polish, buff, or repair any item I sell. Items are sold just as I collected them. It is my policy to leave all decisions to restore or repair an item to the new owner. Should I decide to sell an item that I have restored, I will tell you so in the description.
RETURN POLICY: If you are unhappy with a transaction, please contact me. If on the other hand, you are pleased with the results, please take the time to complete the feedback survey with the maximum 5 Star rating. It would be most appreciated. Another auction from oziskansas
