Q: What carriers are used to freight my order?
A: We only use the best freight services. In our experience, the carriers we use are both economical and reliable - with most goods being covered in transit by insurance.
Australia Post - www.auspost.com.au
Couriers Please - www.couriersplease.com.au
Fastway Couriers - www.fastway.com.au
Hunter Express (E-Go) - www.e-go.com.au
Q: How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
A: Most orders for metropolitan areas (excluding Perth and Hobart) arrive at their destination within 1-3 working days of the order being placed. Generally, it will take longer for your order to reach you if you live in a regional area, including WA, TAS, and NT. However, there are times when external influences outside our control may cause shipping delays - like natural disasters, public holidays, and industrial action. If the item is a 'special order', there may be a longer lead time as the manufacturer or supplier will need to ship the item to our warehouse first. If this is the case, we will advise you of the approximate lead time before you place your order.
Q: Hey, delivery seems kind of expensive/cheap? What's the go?
A: We use a variety of shipping methods and after years of experience and thousands of fulfilled customer orders we believe that we have a good understanding of the safest and most economical way to send your goodies. JDM Obsession charges all freight at cost. We do not make any money on freight. Freighting large items, such as an intercooler kit, will naturally cost a lot more than a shift knob - especially if it is going to a regional area. If you are purchasing a lot of items, we can often consolidate shipping to save you money.
Q: Help, my order hasn't arrived yet!
A: Firstly, be patient! We will, where possible, attempt to supply you with a tracking number so you can view the progress of your delivery online. In the highly unlikely event that the shipping company manages to misplace or damage your item and it cannot be recovered, all shipments are insured.
Q: Can I pick up an item I've purchased from you?
A: To keep our overheads as low as possible, we do not operate a retail shop front. This means that we can pass the savings on to you, the customer! We do not offer pick up - all orders are to be freighted either by courier or Australia Post.
