The Super Mario Bros. is a classic platform game designed for use with the NES video game system. Players take on the role of Mario as he races through Mushroom Kingdom to save Princess Toadstool, leaping from object to object and evading the forces of the antagonist in Super Mario Bros., Bowser. A multiplayer feature in this platform game lets second players take on the role of Luigi, Mario’s brother. As Mario makes his way through the fun and brightly coloured world of Mushroom Kingdom, he picks up coins and special items that can imbue him with extra lives and extra power for taking on Bowser’s minions. With eight worlds, each including four sub-levels, as well as challenge matches at the end of each stage that pit Mario or Luigi against a new enemy every time. This game has been rated G by the Australian Classification Board.
