ARP Bearing Cap Stud Kit Upgrade

This auction is for customers who are purchasing a TA Girdle from me right now, and would like to add an ARP stud kit to their order. The correct way to order both the girdle and the stud kit from me, and receive free shipping on the stud kit, is to add the TA Girdle to your cart, but don't check out. Then, add this auction to your cart, and THEN check out. Ebay will automatically give you free shipping on the stud kit when you check out with both items in your cart. TA Performance ARP Bearing Cap Stud Kit

For GM 10 bolt, 12 bolt, all Ford, Dana, and Borg Warner 9 bolt rear ends

These four High Performance ARP studs, nuts, and washers replace the four factory bolts that hold the two main bearing caps in place in your car's rear end. They locate the caps more accurately, are considerably stronger than stock equipped bolts, and also draw down on the caps more evenly. This further helps keep your ring gear assembly from flexing under heavy loads, and therefore helps to further strengthen your rear end by helping to prevent broken ring & pinion teeth.

ARP makes these bolts for TA Performance, and are offered as a compliment to their Rear End Girdle line. We also carry the full line of TA Performance Rear End Girdles, available in my Ebay Store. These studs are not required to install a TA Girdle. Rather, they are a separate upgrade to the strength of your rear end.

While your rear end cover is off and the fluid is drained in preparation for the TA Girdle install, it is a perfect time to perform this upgrade!

We all know that just about every performance race motor replaces the factory main cap bolts with ARP studs. This is basically the same thing, except we're working on the rear end's main caps instead, and there's only two caps.

Attention Australian Borg Warner 9 Bolt Buyers!

Just recently, we have found out about an Australian made 9 bolt rear end that is different. Certain models, possibly the Commodore VL, VN, VR, VS and others, have a rear end that has a drain plug built into the bottom of the housing. This model also has one larger bolt in the bottom center. The TA Girdle was not made with this model in mind, but it will still work. The TA Girdle's drain would become unnecessary and would be located above the factory drain plug level. The bottom middle bolt is roughly double the size of the normal 9 bolts, and will require some slight modification. Also, the bearing cap bolts in this rear end are much larger, so the TA Performance ARP Bearing Cap Stud Kit is NOT going to work for that rear end. Do not purchase the ARP bearing cap stud kit if you have this rear end, because there will be no refund's issued for fitment. Any questions, please ask before purchasing.
