Author Biography
The author studied business administration and economics at an undergraduate and graduate level, and has held senior positions in companies in various countries. He has lectured at universities and institutions on the subject of economics and business, and has written articles in specialized magazines and newspapers in various countries. He is an international consultant in the fields of business and economics and has lived in eight different countries for reasons of study and work. While providing consulting for one of the biggest mining groups in Bolivia, he had a firsthand experience in the effects of hyperinflation on the population which developed in the country in 1985, at that time the biggest in the world occurring since the Hungarian hyperinflation in 1945. The author currently provides consulting in the area of quantitative risk analysis referred to the fields of strategic planning applying a method developed by him (Dynamic Risk Profile), builds risk scenarios of assets exposed to risk for clients such as oil companies, and also consults on the business cycle.
