I love the no nonsense way that Dawkins explains the wonders of our universe. In this book he describes various myths surrounding some important questions (where did we come from? what causes earthquakes? etc) then gives the correct explanation. This edition has some wonderful illustrations, including a gallery of our ancestors going back to the aquatic ones! A good read for anyone interested in the science of our reality, but it is intended for young teenage readers so informed adults may be familiar with some content. I aim to use some of this material for teaching primary school children, but every home deserves a copy. CONTENTS: 1 What is reality?
