The COVERT OPERATION was a complete Success! Back to the zoo! "Cute & Cuddly, Boys!" The Penguins ARE cute & Cuddly; they are also premediated, dastardly to deal with, and a regular pre-emptive Strike Force. SKIPPER is clearly the Brains of the outfit, and can out think ALL others. KOWALSKI is rather a Genius, and tries to put his talent to good use between his inventions, and always calculating alternatives in the most prevailing sinister of situations. RICO is Wild, doesn't say much, but let's his actions do the talking; he is a Penguin who doesn't know he can't fly. PRIVATE, well...he is a dude who takes orders, But, the ENGLISH accent makes this Penguin Dude both loveable and laughable. In short, the other Zoo creaures just don't compare: ....But don't tell that to "King Julian!"
Can anything get any better than the Penguins today? If you're not on top of this one grandparents, it's the extended story of the Madagascar series and is great fun for the whole family. These guys are the product of Dreamworks and Spielberg's ever present excellence in the imaginative. Follow these guys with their "undercover" escapades in the New York zoo. Yes, folks, you can actually have "undercover" escapades in the New York zoo. Just ask an otter who seems to be the "girl Friday" who can vouch for that. Anyway, like Johnny Quest, this is a series of DVDs you should keep in the entertainment center for the whole family. Have fun!
These penguin movies are so clever and funny for the whole family. We love the character voices, the jokes and how they interact. Always entertaining. I'd buy all their movies!

I love this DVD mainly for the reason that it has a bunch of episodes on it, so I can pop it in if I feel like watch Penguins but it's not on TV. It also keeps me from saving so many on the DVR because I can just watch this. One reservation I did have was the fact that there are nine episodes on the DVD and they are all preceeded but the openin sequence which got on my nerves after a while. But other than that it is a nice DVD to have.
