I found this handbook to be a great asset to myself as a novice weekend welder and takes much of the guesswork out of the skill involved. It's biggest strength lays in how the book was written and it's easy to follow style, as such I have bought another 2 copies for friends as it's not written like a textbook which goes over your head. The photo's and diagramns are very good as a guide, my only criticism of it is that a lot of photo's of welders, plasma cutters etc are out of date, and if they reflected a bit more of the current welders available especially pertaining to TIG welders now, would improve it a lot,but anybody that has an interest in welding, for me it has become a bible and don't hesitate to recommend to anyone as a reference book
