I had never seen this movie but I am so glad now that it is on my shelf. It will b a movie that I watch again and again. There was something very special about the magic that John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara had and I never tire of seeing them together. I think they are my favourite couple. This movie is black and white but if you love any material that John Wayne put together, you will definitely enjoy it as much as I did. It keeps you on the edge of your seat in quite a lot scenes because it is a story that takes you into it. The acting is superb, as one can expect. I love now seeing the many actors that John always wanted with him in his movies, like Ward Bond and Harry Carey Jr. I won't spoil the movie for you to say what it is about but all I will say is, 'if one has friends like John Wayne's character does in their movie', then we are very, very blessed indeed. When you see John Wayne with tears in his eyes, you know you have seen a truly moving film. The movie is based on a true story. A true gem to own. Read full review
