About our dispatch team
We always strive to ship your purchase out in a timely manner, our parcels are dispatched around 3.00pm Monday to Friday. We pack and dispatch items all the way up to around 2:00PM everyday so even if you just ordered your item before then, chances are we will be sending it out the same day.
The average time frame for deliveries are as follows:
Items sent within VIC are taken directly to the distribution center > 1-2 days for attempted delivery to metropolitan areas.
1-2 days to reach the NSW or SA capital city distribution centers > 1-2 days for attempted delivery to metropolitan areas.
2-3 days to reach all other capital cities distribution centers > 1-2 days for attempted delivery to metropolitan areas.
For regional and rural areas, they are often still taken to the major distribution centers for processing and sorting and then on-forward to remote locations - Understand that this may cause further processing time.
Please note that this is only a average time given as a example, actual shipping times can vary as there are an indefinite amount of variables.

Terms and Conditions - FreightRisk of loss or damage during freight
All items purchased from EB King Aus are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier, confirmation only need be by consignment tracking information.
Customers who elect to have parcel delivered to an address whereby the parcel may be accepted or signed for by a 3rd party (i.e. workplace, hotel, office building) accept all responsibility for location and recovery of the parcel once the carrier has reported delivery to that address.
Furthermore if your parcel is delivered to an address (that you supplied) which turns out to be incorrect, and the parcel is accepted by a 3rd party – again customers accept all responsibility for delivery address and recovery of the parcel once the carrier has reported delivery to that address.
It is recommended that you choose to purchase freight insurance for your item; EB King will not hold responsibility for any loss or damages during the freight service. We charge a flat rate of insurance at 1.5%, please contact us if you would like to purchase insurance.
If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, you should contact the freight company with the tracking information we provide. Please also notify us as we can try to assist you.
In the case of lost parcels, we will assist all our customers in the event that a parcel is missing whilst in transit by attempting to provide freight related information.
Delivery address, missed deliveries and re-deliveries
It is not possible to change the address from what is shown on your PayPal account. Once an order is on its way our system will email you with the courier name and tracking number. If no-one is present at the point of delivery the courier will leave a calling card so you may contact the courier for redeliver or pickup at the depot.
If a consignment is returned to us undelivered and requires redeliver for whatever reason (including but not limited to incorrect addresses, inability to organize re-delivery) OR in the case where the courier requires further payment for a redeliver - EB King cannot be responsible for covering additional charges or cost for sending the returned items back out to you. Any used freight charges are not refundable.
7 Day - Dead on arrival (D.O.A) PolicyWe have a 7 day D.O.A Policy which means that if you find the item does not function as it is supposed to within 7 days of receiving your item and have gone through the correct D.O.A and trouble-shooting procedure we will offer either a refund or brand new replacement. If for whatever reason tracking is unable to identify an exact date that you received the item, it is reasonable to assume that it has been received on the 5th day after being dispatched from our warehouse. For example, if we dispatched your item on the 1st, you are deemed to have received it on the 6th, and have 7 days to claim D.O.A, in which case you must have raised this issue with us by the 13th at the latest.
Manufacturer warranty / Laptop, printer and monitor warranty.
Certain products are covered by a back to base warranty from the manufacturer, which means that rather than returning your item(s) to us â€“ you can fast-track the whole procedure by going directly to the manufacturer or its local agents. This is especially true when dealing with manufacturer extended warranties.
Items such as Printers, Laptops and Monitors are covered exclusively by their own manufacturers - most of which have repairers nationwide. For printers just check your manual, there should be an appropriate 1800 or 13 style telephone number to call. Nearly all monitors have a nationwide onsite warranty inside a metro area. We are not an authorized service centre for these items. Lodge a request via our support area if you need more help contacting your manufacturer or their local service agent. Dead/Zero/Bright pixel warranties on LCD monitors are honored, however since this is not a catastrophic fault, we do not cover any freight costs both ways for this service.
When dealing with manufacturer warranties, we can handle warranty claims on your behalf but there are often cost involved that are not covered by us such as all freight and testing cost, you should contact us for more information.
Furthermore, if the relevant manufacturer were to decline your warranty claim (whether it was improperly diagnosed, or not covered by warranty) they also will often charge you a diagnosis fee and for return freight cost. They will not return items without these cost paid for.
If you return your item (whether on our advice or not) and it turns out that it is in fact operating as it should (which includes not being able to replicate your issues with the item.) Then the item will be returned to you at your own cost, depending on the severity of testing â€“ a Fault-Finding fee may be applicable.
Supplying replacement items before we receive the return(s):
Under no circumstances will EB King send out replacement item(s) prior to your warranty item has been received, processed and approved by our warranty department. This includes D.O.A warranty claims.
DowntimeMost warranty claims outside of the D.O.A period that are returned to us will be repaired by the manufacturer, please note that this is can be a time consuming process and can take months. EB King is not responsible for any downtime this may cause and related effects.
We will of course try to minimize downtime as much as possible, many technical problems can be resolved with expert advice from our technical team â€“ see the section titled â€˜I Think My hardware is faulty, what do I do now?â€™
Under no circumstances will EB King send out replacement item(s) prior to your warranty item has been received, processed and approved by our warranty department.
Returning your item(s) for warrantyYou should contact us prior to initiating any warranty procedures except when dealing directly with the manufacturer of your item(s). You must contact us for a R.A (return authorization) number prior to sending any products back for a claim of warranty, in some situations we may try to trouble shoot the problem for you without needing to send the product back to us.
You are responsible for the cost involved in sending the product back to us; we will return the product back to you at our own cost. Under no circumstances should you send it via C.O.D as it will simply be declined and returned to you.You are advised to choose a method of returning your item(s) that offers online tracking, if you cannot prove (through consignment information) that your item was delivered to us then it is deemed to have not have been received.
When returning your item(s) for a warranty claim it is your responsibility to send the unit back to us in adequate packaging as to not cause further damage as well as appropriate information such as:

Return PolicyItem(s) can be returned to us within 14 days of the proven date of delivery, you will need to seek approval by contacting us prior to sending it back. You are responsible for freight charges in returning your item(s) to us and ensuring that it is sent within the first 14 days from the proven date of delivery.
If you wish to return your item(s), EB King will incur a 25% administration and restocking fee if your item(s) are returned in original sale-able condition within 14 days from the proven date of delivery. You will not be refunded the used freight charges. We will only return funds by the method of payment, (i.e. If you paid by PayPal, we will refund by PayPal.) Please note that in some circumstances, refunds by PayPal may incur its own fees and charges.
In listings that include â€˜free postageâ€™, the cost of postage will not be refunded to you and is set at $10 per parcel. In short, you will be refunded your final buy price minus $10 per parcel and 25%.
