I bought this system because it can handle 2 lines which it does well, the answer machine has two outgoing messages one for each line and it performs very well. The audio quality is much better than the Xdect 8155 that it replaced. The RO55 does not have Blutooth but that is no loss to me I always got confused with which button to press to answer a call. The only feature I miss is that when you want to delete CID you have to do it individually on each handset where on the 8155 it worked globally so you only had to do it once. The same applies to adding a number to your contact list you have to send it to each handset one at a time on the 8155 the system shares the list so you only have to do it once. The RO55 has a repeater in each handset base which extends the range a lot the 8155 had one repeater which has to have its own power supply. Other than the above the 2 line RO55 works very very well has great audio quality and over all is a better product.Read full review

This is the second purchase of this model phone. Used in holiday home. Easy to use and has every feature you could want. The 2 line facility is very handy. I highly recommend this phone.

Previously had a Panasonic but needed a two line system of which the Uniden fits the bill extremely well. Have found some of the features on the Uniden hard to find but that's probably because I am used to another system. I find that the Uniden is a bit narrow and if it was a little wider it would be able to use a bigger screen. The Panasonic was a lot easier to read. The plug in head set on the Uniden I find to be extremely good which gives you a hands free walk around situation with good sound quality. Unfortunately the sound quality on the Uniden is not a clear as the Panasonic. The range from base is not as good either but still extremely good. All in all there are some features on the Uniden which are a lot better than the Panasonic and some features on the Panasonic which are a lot better. Over all I would recommend the Uniden especially as a two line system. If I was buying a normal phone again it would be s tough decision as to which one I would get. Bearing in mind the old phone is ten plus years old and I don't think they have some of the best features on the newer phones any more. If they were to marry the two brands together and put the best features from both into the one phone it would be a match made in heaven. Having said that I certainly would not give up the Uniden. Hoping I have not confused you to much. ArthurRead full review

I already had this cordless phone set for quite a few years but had "drowned" a couple of the handsets and wanted to get some more. I just purchased the full set again as was the better deal. The range these phones give you is great as we live on an acreage so we have the handsets with their stations set around different areas of the house so we can then get coverage all over our 2 acres. Brilliant.

Compared to other Uniden phones it is too slim and doesn't fit comfortably in the hand. The display is hard to read on hand sets and base. The lights on the stands of handsets 2 and 3 are too bright at night when trying to sleep. We have to cover the phone to sleep. I'm happy with the phone as all handsets are wall mountable
