This listing is for one pair of premium quality, US design, 10" free backing hydraulic drum brake assembly for off road and on road trailers. Major parts inside are galvanized for better rust resistance.

Advanced free backing design which automatically disengage the brake when backing up, allow you to back up without having to manually lockout brakes

XTRAIL 10" Hydraulic Drum Brake assembly

This premium grade 10" hydraulic drum brake is suitable for off road and on road trailer braking system.

 

WHY 10" and not 9"?

  1. provide better braking
  2. minimize stocks for trailer/caravan manufacturers (imagine to keep different drum size for electric and hydraulic brake, our brakes are all 10" so that brake drum can be used for both braking systems)
  3. unified mounting. This hydraulic brake has same mounting as our 10" electric brake. (for manufacturers, no need to keep differnt mounting plates or axle assembly. To change between hyraulic brake and electric brake on our brake axle kit, all you need to change is the brake assembly, everything else remain the same)

ADR (Australian Design Rule) requires all trailers with GTM (Gross Tare Mass) over 750kg to have automatic actuated brake fitted on at least one axle. For trailers with GTM between 2 to 4.5 tons, brake must be fitted on all axles and a break away system.

 

This device should be fitted and serviced by qualified mechanic for safety reason.

Auction Terms:

Warranty & Return:

  1. In case of DOA, buyer is required to contact us within 14 days since receiving the item in writing (email is preferred) so that the first date of complain is recorded.
  2. In case of valid DOA claim, buyer is required to return the item with original packing and all accessories immediately. If returned item confirmed to be manufacturing defective, replacement will be re-delivered all on our expenses. Return postage will be reimbursed when dispatching the replacement.
  3. For DOA claim, full refund including P&H cost will be made. However, item return postage will not be reimbursed if buyer elects refund as settlement rather than replacement
  4. All claims lodged to us after 14 days from receiving the item will be treated as warranty claim. Buyer is required to return the item to us on buyer's expenses. If returned item found to be manufacturing defective, replacement will be re-delivered all on our expenses. However, the returning postage will not be reimbursed.
  5. All warranty claim must be accompanied with our electronic invoice sent together with our postage notification email.
  6. Defective items will be repaired or replaced on our discretion. If item cannot be repaired and no stock is available for replacement, partial refund of the winning amount with the same proportion of the residual warranty will be made.
  7. Replacement item will not extend its original warranty period. Repair work will be warranted for three months independent to warranty period.
  8. Claim form is required to be attached with return item.
  9. COD return will be rejected by Aust Post automatically
  10. Our entire liability to buyer/user or any third parties under any circumstance is limited to the final sale price of the item excluding postage and handling.
