Shipping & Combined Postage
- We ship throughout Australia and Internationally using Australia Post/Startrack as our preferred shipping partner unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs includes packaging and handling (please allow 1-2 business days). Depending on your choice of shipping options, delivery within Australia will generally take 1-5 business days for Regular service, and 1-3 business days for Express service. International delivery will generally take 2-10 business days depending on your location. Please note a number of our products are classed as "Dangerous Goods" and can only be delivered within Australia via road courier. Also please note that we do not deliver to PO Boxes. Standard Postage (Standard Delivery) - NO TRACKING: This service is for flat letter postage items. Please note that this option does NOT include tracking. If this option is selected, we wil be unable to provide a tracking number and hence be unable to provide any details about the location of your order. Selecting this option runs the risk that if your parcel is lost by the mail service, it may be unable to be replaced. Estimated delivery time for this option is between 2-7 business days but may be longer during peak postage periods.
Standard Delivery - Registered - TRACKING INCLUDED: This service is for parcel postage items and INCLUDES tracking. If this option is selected, a tracking number will be provided. To view details about the location of your order, this tracking number can be entered into the Startrack website. Estimated delivery for this option is between 2-5 business days but may take longer during peak postage periods.
Express Postage (Startrack Express) - TRACKING INCLUDED: This service can be used for both flat letter postage items and parcel postage items which need to be delivered urgently or within a short time frame. If this option is selected, a tracking number will be provided. To view details about the location of your order, this tracking number can be entered into the Startrack website. Estimated delivery for this option is between 1-3 business days but may take longer during peak postage periods. Depending on your location, delivery can be as quick as the next business day.

Auspost Airmail Parcel - TRACKING CAN BE REQUESTED: This service is for international parcel postage items. Depending on your country, tracking MAY be available. To request tracking, a revised/combined invoice must be requested BEFORE paying for your item. This will allow us to determine the shipping cost. Tracking should be available to most major countries. If you are unsure of whether tracking is available in your country, please contact us BEFORE paying for your item to find out. If no tracking is available or you select to have your parcel sent without tracking, we will be unable to provide a tracking number and hence be unable to provide any details about the location of your order. If this is the case, you run the risk that if your parcel is lost by the mail service, it may be unable to be replaced. If tracking is available and selected, a tracking number will be provided. To view details about the location of your order, this tracking number can be entered into the Australia Post website. The estimated delivery time for this option is between 4-10 business days regardless of tracking but may be longer during peak postage periods.
Auspost Express Courier International - TRACKING INCLUDED: This service can be used for both for international flat letter postage and international parcel postage items which need to be delivered urgently or within a short period of time. If this option is selected, a tracking number will be provided. To view details about the location of your order, this tracking number can be entered into the Australia Post website. Estimated delivery for this option is between 2-5 business days but may take longer during peak postage periods.
We are happy to combine postage for multiple quantities or additional items purchased from our eBay Store. If you wish to purchase more than one item from our eBay Store, please use the "ADD TO CART" button (above) and continue to do the same for all other items from our eBay Store. After making the purchases, if the items are not combined automatically or the total shipping charges seem unreasonable, please use the "Request Total from Seller" function on eBay. This will notify us to combine your orders, amend charges where applicable, and send you an eBay Invoice with instructions for payment. (Please note: If this is not requested, the orders may be shipped separately and shipping charged more than once).
Although all reasonable care is taken in packing your order, we cannot not be held responsible for your shipment if the postal service fails to deliver the package or the package is damaged, broken or items are missing as result of their handling. Also, if a tracking option is not selected, we cannot be held responsible for providing the location of your parcel and hence cannot be held responsible for possible misplacement/loss of packages during the shipping process. In other words, if choosing a shipping option without tracking, you are doing so with the risk that any parcel lost by the postage service will be without compensation, monetary or otherwise from House of Adorn or aforementioned postal service. If the package is held at Customs or other government agencies, we do not accept and/or assume no liability whatsoever for any delays. If there are any issues with the delivery you will need to take it up with the postal service. In the cases of war, riots, strikes, floods, and any cause beyond the control of us, we shall have no liability for any delay. In the event of such delay, the specified delivery date shall be extended by a reasonable length of time and agreed by both.
Please also note that should you be unavailable or absent at the time of delivery, our delivery drivers have the "Authority to Leave" your package in a safe place. If for any reason your parcel cannot be delivered directly to your delivery address, our drivers will return your goods to your nearest post office for collection. Goods returned to the post office may eventually be returned to us if not collected within a certain time frame. Therefore should your goods not arrive within the expected time frame, please check with your local post office for their delivery as we will not be liable for any shipment costs attained from the re-delivery of goods.
International Customers Please Note:
Often parcels are purposely or randomly detained for inspection of the contents, to check paperwork, or to calculate the Custom Duties and/or Taxes payable. It is your responsibility to determine whether any such duties and/or taxes apply in your destination country. In placing an order with us, you agree that House of Adorn are not liable for any expenses you may incur and/or your obligation to the concerning authority/s. If there are duties and/or taxes due, then you should get notified by the relevant authority directly and often, only once the duties and/or taxes are paid, will they release your parcel for delivery. This process may take 2-5 weeks in some instances. We therefore recommend you identify in advance, if there are any Custom Duties and/or Taxes that apply for your country so you will not be surprised or inconvenienced by any additional fees and/or charges.
Payment & Refunds
- We currently accept Paypal and Bank Deposit. If you choose to pay by making a Bank Deposit, our bank details will appear when you check out. Please note, orders will only be processsed and dispatched upon receipt of full payment.

If you have already paid multiple postage charges on multiple items that arrive in the same parcel and wish to request for a refund, please contact us and we will endeavour to arrange a refund as soon as we can. Exchanges & Returns
- We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to exchange or refund the cost of goods (not including shipping fees) provided we are notified via email@example.com within 2 days of you receiving the goods. Once we acknowledge your request, items must be returned with a copy of the invoice within 5 business days in Australia or 10 business days worldwide from date of notification.
Goods must not have been used or damaged, must be in their original packaging and must be in a fully resalable condition. If we find that the goods have not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund on the goods. We are unable to offer an exchange/refund on any sale items or products that can be worn directly in/on the hair and body, including all hair products (such as hair combs, headbands, and feather hair extensions), feather boas and feather eye lashes.
If you are returning any goods because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in returning the goods to us. Once we have received the goods and confirm that it is damaged or defective, we will replace and resend the goods at no extra cost, or provide a full refund in the original form of payment.
