This is an auction for one Widger.  It is all STAINLESS STEEL.  You may not be familiar w/a Widger, b/c they did not originate in America, but here is one, available to you w/out International shipping or any hassle at all whatsoever!

I love this tool.  While most gardeners carry pruners around w/them, I carry this.  It is such a versatile tool, that once you have one, you may not understand how you managed to get by w/out it, and once you start using your Widger, you will not want to be w/out it, so you may find that you want more than one around the household and garden.

In the first picture you can see the front and back of the tool.  The second picture shows you a picture of the very slim side of the tool.  It's all stainless steel.  One end of the Widger is wider than the other.  It also is not a "straight" tool; it has a "hollow" to it and is sort of "bent" a little.  This tool is excellent for digging out plants from 6-paks w/out disturbing the roots.  If you sow seeds in a flat, it's perfect for lifting out the little seedlings and transplanting them into another container or the ground or for "throwing" seeds; for greenhouse use, it can't be beat!

I use the larger end for scooping up little bits of soil/dirt to finish off potting a plant (you know when you get the plant into the pot but need just a little bit of extra dirt all around the perimeter?).  The Widger is also good for "throwing" tiny seeds, so that you do not touch them.  The Widger is wonderful for using like a trowel, digging in and around plants.  I use it for digging up weeds or help w/pulling up invasive plants like an ornamental strawberry, that can just creep ALL over--I use the Widger in one hand and dig/move w/that hand while pulling the ornamental strawberry w/the other.  It's such a great helper!  And speaking of "invasive" plants, I happen to really like violets.  They seem to pop up all over the place, tho.  I take my Widger and ease it into the earth, right under the unruly violet and transplant it, roots unharmed, to its new location.  Easy!

It's also great for terrarium & Bonsai work as well as for mushroom hunting, in it that it gets underneath the delicate mushroom w/out disturbing the stem/root area so that you get a "clean" mushroom. It's also great for mushroom growing.  For the terrarium, it will reach into spots your hand will not.  It's also great to use for repotting all kinds of Cacti & Succulents.  You know the variety that look like rocks that yer not supposed to touch or they discolor (Argyroderma  {testiculare}, or "Baby's Bum")?  Use a Widger!  It helps w/repotting them. I like to use a Widger for houseplants or outdoor plants to aereate the soil on top--it's perfect for that.  If you have a molded/shaped type of pot in a somewhat intricate design, like a cat, lying down, a Widger helps to get the soil into the leg/paw areas and up near the head part.  I have a pot like that, and if it weren't for my Widger, it would make the job a lot more difficult!

Its uses extend to what your imagination allows.  It's good for other things non-garden-related as well (I sometimes use it to scratch my back), but the Widger was originated for use in the garden.

It measures 7" long.  The smallest point is approx 1/4" wide and the widest is about 3/4 inches wide.  It is new in its package, straight from the UK!

Impress your gardening friends w/something they don't have!  Get your Widger, now!

S/H is $2.12 for all USA addresses.

Shipping to ALL other countries listed, that I ship to, will be $8.00.  I combine shipping.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:  I am not responsible for misdirected mail, customs problems or other things related to international mail.  After it leaves the Post Office here, it's out of my control.

Please ask any and all questions, w/out hesitation, B4 buying.  What I would like to avoid is any feedback problems related to miscommunication.
