If you want to send Full HD 1080P video and sound to a second TV or Projector elsewhere in your home, this may be a better option than a long cable. The system includes a transmitter with HDMI splitter and a receiver. The transmitter and receiver work with a new technology called MIMO (multi in/multi out ) This is like 4 wifi modems side by side and it is able to transmit 2.5gb/second in 4  equal streams which are re-assembled by the receiver. The result is perfect 1080P and 7.1 audio. You can send sports, movies, any video up to 1080P to your bedroom or to a second TV on the patio up to 30m away. The system may seem pricey, but it beats getting a second Foxtel with it's own dish or retro-fitting long HDMI cables through the house. It is very easy to set-up and will be much cheaper than calling in a TV /Aerial Installer. If you move you simply unplug it all and take it with you. HDMI cables should not exceed 15m with and will need boosters if you want to go longer than 15m. This Wireless system has been tested to go through 3 brick/concrete walls and still give perfect results at 30m. This is a complete system with 5 good quality 1m 28AWG cables worth $60 and an HDMI splitter worth $45 to save you having to plug and unplug devices to transmit to the second TV. I have this set up in my own home and can personally vouch that it is excellent quality.
