After reading some mixed reviews on this item (some youtube videos of people claiming they do nothing), I got my hands on it and have done two vocal recording in a home studio. The best quality vocals I have recorded to date, you can tell the difference straight away in the recording, but the biggest difference came when time to apply reverb to the vocals in the mix... No loose sounds as you'd get without it in a regular room flying around your mix with the reverb. I should have bought one of these 2-3 years ago. One side note, I'll need to get a better stand but I've made do with putting one leg of my stand under the amp to allow it to stay up right. Honestly, the people saying these do nothing need to understand this won't make your voice sound good, it will only minimize loose sound in your room and compact your recording making it easier and better sounding in your final home studio recordings.Read full review
