Having left my iPhone 5 for new ho...rizons i found the Huawei P9. Actually what first attracted me to Huawei was the Mate8. But I decided while I wanted a larger phone the Mate8 may have been just that bit too big. Then when i found out about the P9 and that camera, I couldn't wait for the release. I've had the phone for 3 days and thus far the only issues thus far is pebkac (except the mobile version of that haha) The phone feels great to hold, and I've set up the notifications but down with the other soft buttons (I love that you can customise that)which is beneficial as sometimes your hand can't reach the top of the screen to slide notifications down. I love the emotion UI, it's not too dissimilar to iPhone and so the learning curve hasn't been so steep ( I've found some of my fellow Apple friends reverted back as the Android learning curve was just too much) AND its soooo customisable. Been wanting that for quite a while. I wish you could see your messages/missed calls from the lock screen when the pass-code is enabled (I use the fingerprint scan 99.9% of the time but you have to set up an alternate method of unlocking) So I might look more into that.. Battery Life: Is good. It lasts 1 day. Better than my iPhone or rather, 15ish hours with about 4-6 hours of heavy(?) use (listening to Spotify, whilst reading/playing games (not graphic intense)/social media) But I think i have turned on just about every feature as well, which as I come to learn things will turn off what I don't need. All in all, I love it, looking forward to learning more about it and definitely do not have buyers remorse.
