These are the best bolts you can ...possibly purchase. I was removing my horsepower robbing factory manifolds along with the extreamly flow restricting y-pipe and cats to install some baller AF long tube, 1 7/8”, stainless steel headers along with a new y-pipe and 2 highflow cats and did not want reuse the factory bolts on my 2015 GMC Sierra All-Terrain. So after a full day of spraying kroil all over the existing bolts I oh so carefully began to nerve racking process of removing them and praying to the car gods that one would not break and/or gull up. And after successfully removing all 10 I enjoyed hitting the vape mod up for a few then proceeded to install the new headers, and that entire process deserves a review of its own.... FYI if you plan to do this on your truck; the trans crossmember must be dropped to allow the factory y-pipe to come out in one pc. But once the headers and gaskets were in I then coated the new baller AF ARP bolts with some high-temp stainless specific Loctite brand thread sealer and torqued them puppies to factory spec. (17 ft-lb if installing on a used head and 20 ft-lb if the cylinder head is new). After that You and your Sierra or Silvarado are all set to head up to the sec. of state and get your new personal plate that should read something along the lines of F150KILA cuz you’ll now be playing the gap band on all other trucks. Especially RAMS.
