This Bose L1 system is absolutely great for... small to medium sized audiences. For the output it has, it is priced at a fraction of larger systems, therefore, affordable for less than professional musicians or speakers. It is compact, lightweight, and flexible enough to add more features. For example, you can pair it with another L1 to double the output, plug it into an auditorium PA system, or add a mixer to increase musical instruments. The first time I used my L1, I attached a Yamaha mixer and plugged 2 mics, 1 guitar, a keyboard, and electronic drum machine into it. The L1 still had plenty of power. I highly recommend this system.

The Bose L1 compact is without a doubt the best amp ...ever for small time musicians. The sound is crystal clear and it is simple to operate. It only weighs 29 pounds yet has a lot of muscle. It is advertised to accomodate up to 100 people but I have used it for audiences over 200 people and it worked admirably. When I take it to jams everyone wants to sing through my mike. I highly recommend it.

I already had one ...Bose L1 compact and loved it, so I bought another one. I've done shows with just one and the sound is unbelievable. Now with two on the stage, my entire PA system weighs 58 lbs, a quick set up/tear down, in a compact, easy carry configuration.

I bought this for a dj gig. I don't have a Bose system. I... just used it with a crossover, power amp and subwoofer. It sounded wonderful, and I got many compliments.

Time tested product over the years. Clear sound. Ver...satile uses. Run two for stereo. Replaced QSCs in stereo. Couldn't be happier for a keyboard/vocals solo act. I do use a Zed 6fx mixer, which I wouldn't be without.
