The heat exchanger technology on this pot really does make a difference compared to normal pots. I timed boiling the same amount of water under similar conditions using a gas stove, and this heat exchanger pot took about 40% less time. It's lightweight, and a good capacity. The only slight negative is the lid can get a bit stuck if not put on correctly, and, I'm not sure the insulation on the handles will last. Nevertheless it's a lot cheaper than branded heat exchanger pots and it works! I'm very happy with mine.

Overall this pot works fine, is much cheaper than the expensive brands but is probably a copy of those name brands. I have 3 of them now for my bug out bags & general camping/hiking use. The gas flame should be kept quite low for efficiency & not touch the fin ring at all otherwise it may melt & you will be wasting energy as well. The lid is useless, it warped a lot after a bit of use. Doesn't worry me as I use a glass kitchen pot lid at home so I can see water boil & make a ultralight aluminium, reflectix insulated lid & cozy around it for ultralight hiking. Use it w/ a 25g stove & you have a very light weight & cheap alternative to a Jetboil, MSR etc. Needs some adaptation & thought it may move around on the stove & tip over if bumped.

Fits a gas can inside with a small stove so very compact and relatively light. Capacity good for 1-2 people. Pours without spilling, good lid. A+
