The E72 has all the features you need, GPS, decent camera, good battery life a proper keyboard, music player with 3.5mm jack and is slim and easy to carry. The GPS is FREE, yippee and I love the keyboard. The Nokia software store has lots of app that are free or cheap. Emailing is excellent. There are a few faults, firstly the software looks dated and is overly complex in places. Menus items can be difficult to find and it took me a few days to move menu items around before I was comfortable with it. The phone can be a bit slow sometimes when loading an app or switching between them. Web browsing on such a cramp screen is not fun, it is possible but not fun. If you don't use the web much on the go this phone is an excellent choice. It is a very cheap now as it is considered last years model. That means you can get them for a bargain. Be ready for a learning curve.Read full review
I've been using this phone for almost a month now. I needed a phone quickly after my Android phone died. I chose the Nokia E72 simply because it was cheap & designed for heavy email use. The phone itself is light and slim and a good build quality. It has a physical qwerty keyboard and a small screen. If your eyesight is not good then you're going to struggle to read stuff. However, the trade off is that is has a decent battery life. To go at least 2 days without a charge was a big bonus! Especially when I have email polling for mail and being on the web everyday. The email client is easy to setup but the mail for exchange option was the only setting that could sync your email calendar with the phone. It was not an easy job but it works. Web browsing is adequate at best. It doesn't cope well with downloading large websites and crashes often. Don't expect much from apps neither. It's nowhere near in the same league as Android or Apple apps. However, the Nokia maps and GPS system are pretty decent. I've used it as a sat nav in the car and it works ok. Whatsapp works too but it may not let another app run at the sametime as the memory is poor. The media apps are ok. They work and you can listen to music and the FM radio without much fuss. The wifi capability allows you to stream internet radio pretty well. Watching videos are not brillliant but with a small screen you can't expect much. As mentioned earlier, memory is a problem. You have to keep closing down apps to run another app. Storage is good if you have micro USB card installed. It fits in a coverable slot on the side for easy access. If you want a phone that has good email capability then you can't go much wrong with this. The 3G and wifi will give you good connectivtiy but don't expect to do much surfing. Poor memory will frustrate you if you like your apps and are a heavy surfer. This a good grunt business phone but not much more but it's cheap and good value for money as you should be able to get one for under £70.Read full review
Great, almost undestructable mobile phone. Battery least for almost full week. Great if you are away on the road. Qwerty keyboard is easy to use even in gloves. This phone is not for a geeks but good if you need it for calls and text mostly. Also great build in Sat Nav with recent maps for free from Nokia.
