since everything is sold with a warranty of these days you question the quality in the first place. A refurbished would seem to have the bugs removed. well this was definitely not an out of the box ready to use laptop. it has operating problems, completely lost sound and very glitchy video stream. I'm going to take it to another PC repair shop and make sure there's no fisher-price components in it. I contacted the company that sold it to me and they want me to try this and try that and restart and try this and try that. maybe that's something they should have tried that before they sold it to me!

Excellent Laptop. Feels good when you fold it into a tablet. I'd make sure you have 8gb of ram and go with an SSD with 500gb to get the best performance and data capacity (I have let to up grade to the SSD). One draw back is getting all the updates in a timely fashion, took me a few days to get everything downloaded and installed, plus got windows 8.1 and fought off windows 10 and that lingering icon by the clock. Anyway, Its light, usb 3.0, HDMI plug, and nice sony programs. I also highly recommend getting the pen, it's very nice to draw with.

Sony vaio always my brand when it comes to technology. i love the Sony vaio fit because of it's versatility. just one flip it becomes a tablet othern than that its powerful, light weight and easy to use. Over all it's another Sony's big success.
