  Retrograde model

  Had a Uniden DSS3455 cordless phone for many years. Was hap...py with it but wanted a phone that worked during power outages so chose another Uniden - a retrograde step. This model does not have speed dial numbers. To access the stored phone book numbers, you need to press more keys and when scrolling up or down often have to press each key more than once for it to respond. Having trouble with the answering machine not recording left messages so have had to record a message to that effect and ask people to ring back. Still trying to fix that! My husband has given up on it and wants me to reinstall our old Uniden (which luckily I have kept). Maybe a lemon - it's certainly made me sour!
