Solid build and correctly rated
I have no doubt that these can handle 4000 watts. I got them to control lights and at 2400 watts the unit doesn't even get warm and it has about 80-90% of the full travel of the knob that dims the lights. At 3600 watts the unit does get warm but nowhere near enough that you can't hold it and still has good range.
The case is solid and has a heavy duty cable with a good grommet.
The only thing I don't like is the international socket as it is a bit tight and I see it getting loose over time however if/when that time comes I will just replace it with a local variety.
