ACTIL Sheets

Established in 1942, ACTIL has supplied bed linens for Australians, hotel owners and others for over 70 years. Prized for supplying hotel quality sheets, doonas and towels, the company uses 100 per cent cotton in their products so they feel soft on the skin and are easy to maintain. You'll find ACTIL bedding in materials and patterns that the company considers timeless examples of quality.

Other ACTIL Home Bedding

insert the words ACTIL quilts and bedspreads or doonas grace your bed with a simple elegance characterised by modern and crisp styling in vibrant hand painted designs. Furthermore, you can buy ACTIL pillow cases and matching sheets to create a unified look in your bedroom. The company offers a 5 year/130 washes warranty to emphasise the quality of their products.

Types and Sizes

When you need to purchase individual fitted and flat sheets or a set, ACTIL offers them in all sizes. Regardless of bed's mattress size, whether single, double, queen, or king, ACTIL makes them all.

Materials

The company prefers using combed cotton because the long fibres are removed to make the fabric smoother, softer and stronger. In selecting fine fabrics, ACTIL uses fabric with more threads per centimetre. For example, their Percale fabric has a minimum thread count of 220 threads per 10 square centimetres so it feels luxurious to the touch, improves durability and extends the life of the bedding.

Patterns

Giving importance to simplicity, ACTIL offers two-toned patterns that are easy to coordinate with other elements in the room. Their sheets are straightforward designs, such as classic pin stripes that harmonise with a broad range of decorating styles and preferences. Their doonas, for example, may contain two primary bold colours, such as burgundy and black, positioned on a neutral background of grey. Another two-toned example is large floral patterns against a crisp, white backdrop. By using positive and negative formatting in creating some of the hand-painted designs, some areas appear light, while others appear dark to create a three-dimensional look.
