  • Antique Pearlware Bowl Punch Bowl Boy In The Window Pattern c 1800 11" Diameter

    A rare late 18th century - early 19th century hand coloured transfer printed pattern on a raised footed pearlware punch bowl. Out side with New Hall type pattern "Boy in the the Window". As well as the New Hall type pattern there is the variation, #3324 on the Transferware Collectors Club database. The inside pattern "Boy At The Door" pattern (TCC 4433) (also known as Boy in the Doorway" ) It is quite a naive engraving of the figures but, clearly it is based upon the same original source design. It has a very ornate border design with Chinese ornaments and festoons. It dates from around 1795 to 1820. The bowl is in excellent condition for its age it has no chips cracks nor restoration. The bowl weighs 1254g unpacked. It is 11" dia 4"H, 6" foot.Free international postage.

    A very collectable antique 19th century Stilton stand in blue and white earthenware. It is decorated in transferware with the Wild Rose pattern border around the central river or canal scene of Nuneham Courtenay near Oxford. The stand, centrepiece or comport has the impressed anchor mark with Middlesbro Pottery around it. This is the mark of Middlesbrough pottery and dates to 1834 – 1844 - see P.J. Duce's booklet "A Guide to Teesside Pottery Marks". It measures 11 1/4" dia, 3 1/2" H. It weighs 1472g unpacked. International shipping by courier.     Here we have a lovely late 19th century Charles Ford porcelain cup and saucer dating from around 1898. This traditionally shaped moulded rim and ornate handle white ground cup and saucer have been transfer printed with a pretty floral pattern and copiously gilded. Both the cup and saucer have been decorated with very pretty floral designs in a bright cobalt blue transferware that has a little flow to it. They are marked with a printed CF and the registered design number 325804, and pattern number 7819. CF is the mark for Charles Ford of Cannon Street Hanley, Staffordshire, England. (1874-1904). The design was registered in 1898. The cup stands approximately 2" high and the body has a diameter of 3 1/4". The saucer is 3/4" high and 5 3/8" diameter. They weigh 175 grammes unpacked.

It weighs 241g unpacked and is in very good antique condition with just a minor amount of rubbing to the gilding.     A highly collectable antique, 18th century, English hard paste porcelain spiral shanked bowl from the renowned New Hall factory of Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire, England. It dates from circa 1795-1800. This hand painted blue, pink and gilded simple enamel pattern consists of a band of gilded floral leaves with blue and pink "flowers" on the inner rim of each item. There are no makers marks however there is a pattern number 202. This is a well-recorded pattern of the NewHall factory. Item Condition: Very good antique condition, Some wear to the gilding on the rim. There is a firing blemish which has been gilded over. No chips, cracks nor restoration.     Here we have a very decorative antique French transfer printed plate with a very attractive pattern. The maker's mark is printed on the back, Opaque de Sarreguemines and this relates to items produced between 1875 and 1900. The plate has a light blue printed pattern featuring an alpine scene in the centre with a chalet, mountains and trees. The border print features roses and game birds, probably pheasants. The design has been hand coloured with pink, yellow and green enamels. The plate is 22 cms/ 8 3/4 inches in diameter and it weighs 334g. It is in very good condition and a decorative item to add to any collection of transfer ware or Sarreguemines pottery.   • Antique English Porcelain Plates Pair Minton Prunus & Bamboo Gilded Dated 1868

    Here we have a very attractive pair of antique porcelain plates - probably dessert plates - by a renowned English maker, Minton. The 9 1/4 in. diameter plates have an impressed date code for October 1868 and the painted pattern number A7557. The design features lilac coloured sections to the border that have cartouches with gold printed bamboo and prunus. At the centre is a gilded stylised flowerhead motif. The plates weigh 851g unpacked and are in good condition with a couple of small chips to the underside of the rim and rubbing to the gilding commensurate with age and use. This is an elegant pair of plates for display or use.

It stands 8 inches high and this most appealing figurine has blonde hair and blue eyes.   • Antique Riley Jug Floral Painted Relief Moulded Bone China Comma Handled c 1825

    A very pretty example of an antique early 19th-century elegant bone china jug or pitcher with a gadrooned rim dating circa 1825. The main decoration is enamelled flowers in bright colours to the front back and neck of the spout. There is the additional decoration of low relief moulded flower sprays to each side of the jug. The handle has an unusual scrolled end to the gadrooned rim: an additional small flower on what has been termed a "comma" handle. The base has incised number 3.Made by J&R Riley, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries, England. See NCS newsletters 157 & 158. Size 5 3/4"H, 4 3/4"W, 3 1/2" dia. Weight 246g unpacked. Condition: very good order - one of the "commas" has been replaced, there is some minor rubbing to the glaze and some wear to the enamel, but this is not obvious.

    This is a good tea cup and saucer, made by Chamberlain's Worcester factory in about 1823. Fluted decoration with wavy rims. Cup is in good condition, the saucer has wear to the raised fluting. Note on saucer that pattern is shown in one of Godden's books.

    A Spode blue and white dish with gilded decoration, in the Blue Rose pattern. Marked Spode's Imperial on the base dating it to around 1830. There is a star crack in the base and a very fine 3cm hairline from the rim (only noticeable after washing the plate).
