Say thank you in style

Bridesmaids are the real heroes of weddings, from the build-up to the big day. By the time you go off into the sunset with your groom they'll have likely done a lot for your big occasion, from planning the hen party (and looking after you at said hen party!) to watching you try on wedding dress after wedding dress, to helping you not to trip over your dress on your way down the aisle at the wedding itself.

So while giving your bridesmaids or maid of honour a gift to say thanks isn't one of the rules of planning a wedding, if you feel like you want to, it won't go unappreciated. There's no specific time to give a bridesmaid gift; you can deliver them at the hen's party, at the wedding dinner, or after the big day – just deliver them with love.

Bridesmaid gift ideas

We've got a great collection of bridesmaid gifts and ideas you can tailor to your bridesmaids' individual personalities, or are themed in the same way as your wedding. If you're stuck on what gift to give your bridesmaids, think about what they love to do.

Entertain them or make it personalised

A bridesmaid gift is more about the gesture than value. You could get them headphones in their favourite colour, your most favourite book of all time, an e-reader like a Kindle Fire, or a set of movies themed around their favourite actor or director. A small piece of jewellery like a ring, earrings, or necklace is the perfect keepsake to remind them of your wedding day.

Pamper your bridesmaids

If you feel like they could do with some pampering, go for a gift like some silk pyjamas, a bathrobe or a monogrammed set of bath towels. You could go for a monogrammed clutch bag or designer makeup bag, a perfume gift set box or a canvas weekender bag and beach towel set as a bridesmaid gift.

The main thing is to show your bridal party how much you love and appreciate them, and make them feel special, so give it some thought and browse the range on eBay.
