This is a five-pole ringfield drive. Note: the unmotorised "power" car underframe has been replaced with an underframe from a trailer car to represent a single power car drive option as on the prototype.
The set was fitted with a 21-pin DCC Concepts Zen "Z218" decoder. Note: the set will run on digital only. If analogue DC operation required then a 21-pin blanking plate (supplied) will be needed to be fitted.
Wrenn 00 gauge "City of London" in BR maroon. Like new condition, boxed runs well. But there is one slight flaw - there are some marks on the maroon paint on the right hand side of the tender as a result of the loco lying on its side in the box for years.
