Disney Pixar Cars Character Toys

Disney Pixar Cars toys are popular amongst children. These toys, which feature characters from the movie Cars, come in a variety of types, including puzzles, board games, speedsets and figures. When searching for the best toy for your child, be sure to consider both your child's age as well as his or her interests.

While Lightning McQueen is a coveted character amongst children, there are many other Disney Pixar Cars from which to choose. Tow Mater is another favourite, as is Doc Hudson. Sally Carrera, Luigi, Sheriff, Cruz Ramirez, Guido and Ramone have all made their debut in the toy industry as well. Each car features a unique personality and look, and many of the figures themselves can speak words or phrases. Collect all the characters to build a complete collection.

Board Games

There is a variety of Pixar Cars toys on the market, including board games. Popular games such as Trouble, Monopoly and Memory all have taken on the Cars theme, while other games were specifically tailored after the movie, including the Cars 3 Surprise Slides game. This board game comes recommended for ages three and up and is designed to promote counting and colour recognition, making it perfect for preschool-aged children.

For ages four to seven, consider purchasing a LEGO Juniors Disney Cars building kit. The kit includes easy-to-build models, along with several popular characters, including Lightning McQueen, and a buildable Guido and Luigi who were later introduced in Cars 3. The set comes equipped with just over 100 pieces, making it perfect for beginner LEGO builders. Other Cars LEGO sets are available for those looking to expand their collections, including Smokey's Garage, Mater's Junkyard and Willy's Butte Speed Training.

Puzzles provide stimulation and fun for children of all ages. To increase visual interest, opt for a Cars puzzle that depicts your child's favourite character or scene from the Cars movie. Make sure to keep your child's age in mind when gauging puzzle difficulty level. Flat puzzles in grid cut with fewer pieces are ideal for younger children, while older children may appreciate the challenge that a Cars 3D puzzle presents.
