Fisher & Paykel Refrigerators and Freezers

Fisher & Paykel first began developing kitchen appliances in 1934, and the company now sells its refrigerators and freezers in 50 countries around the world. Fisher & Paykel refrigerators and freezers are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit different needs and kitchen aesthetics.

Fisher & Paykel Refrigerator Types

Fisher & Paykel refrigerators are fridge freezer combos available with top freezers, bottom freezers, French doors or drawer freezers. Drawer freezers offer easier access to contents with less bending, and having the freezer at the bottom also reduces bending and potential backaches if users access more content from the fridge than the freezer. Fisher & Paykel also offers built-in refrigeration with flush-fit designs that fit into existing kitchen spaces. The company offers integrated, white and stainless steel finishes on several models. Lastly, the company's CoolDrawer is a drawer with five temperature settings that can be installed in kitchens or other spaces for a cooling solution that blends into existing cabinetry.

Fisher & Paykel Freezers

Fisher & Paykel upright freezers and horizontal chest freezer models are available and ideal for those who need a dedicated freezer. Several of the upright models offer left- or right-hand hinges so they can be matched to existing refrigerators. Vertical models feature spill-safe glass shelves that prevent drips from reaching items on lower shelves, a feature also used in the company's refrigerators. In addition, some models offer a fast freeze function to hasten the freezing process.

Fisher & Paykel Cooling Technology

Fisher & Paykel refrigerators feature the company's ActiveSmart Foodcare technology that uses sensors and smart electronics to provide optimum temperatures for food. This system works together with a separate humidity control system to create individual microclimates in different produce bins. This helps maintain fruits and vegetables at the correct temperature and humidity levels. In addition, the company offers flexible shelving, including the use of trays on full extension runners, to ease access to food by making it easier to better organise it.
