BFT Garage Door Remotes and Transmitters

BFT is a global company manufacturing garage door remotes and remote-operated doors, and their designs are used in residential, commercial and industrial applications around the world.

Founded in Thiene, Italy in 1981, BFT is now a global company with distributors in more than 120 different countries. Today, the company produces a wide range of automation equipment for homes, businesses and urban areas. As well as garage doors, their range of products includes automatic road barriers, parking management systems and control systems for automatic doors.

Garage Door Remotes and Transmitters

BFT currently manufactures two different garage opener systems, the Kleio and the Mitto. Both models are available in two- and four-channel versions, and the Mitto is also available in different colours. Both remotes also feature rolling code technology in order to prevent unauthorised access. Each time the garage door openers are used, they also change to a new code that they also broadcast to the receiver. Because the code changes each time, thieves cannot intercept a code and then use it to open the door later. Both the Kleio and Mitto remotes can also be used to control other BFT automated equipment, such as sliding gates.

Garage Door Parts

As well as remotes, BFT also manufactures garage door parts and accessories including garage door automation systems. Their designs range from the ultra-compact Tiziano to the workhorse Berma, which is designed to operate even the largest up-and-over doors. These systems can be used alongside Mitto or Kleio remote controls or operated using one of their wireless control systems. The company provides garage door automation systems for residential and commercial use, for all door sizes and for both sectional and up-and-over designs. They also sell a wide range of accessories for garage door systems alongside remotes and receivers, including rails, chain tracks and wired control systems.

Aftermarket Remotes

BFT’s Mitto and Kleio garage door remotes both operate on a 433MHz frequency. If you prefer to avoid their own remotes for whatever reason, their garage door opener systems can also be paired with third-party remotes operating at the same frequency. These remotes can offer all of the same features as BFT’s own designs, including rolling codes. Garage door remotes can be quite easy to lose, so having a backup or replacement makes sense.
