Discover the iconic Mazda RX-7

The Mazda RX-7 sports car was manufactured between 1978 and 2002, so it is something of a recent classic in today's market. Replacing the RX4 model, the first version featured a front-mid engine and rear-wheel drive and was a two-seat coupe. Although fairly uncommon, you may find versions with rear seats.

As there were more than eight series in this Mazda line, you can find several variations. The Mazda RX7 was produced in coupe and convertible styles, with a range of turbo engines.

So much to love about the RX7

A Mazda RX7 is a fantastic vehicle, offering style as well as substantial performance and an incredibly enjoyable ride.

Throughout the series the engine is known for its power and quality, so you won't go far wrong with a Mazda RX7 that has been well-loved over the years. The specific year will determine chassis style and features as well as the specification of your Mazda engine, suspension, and brakes. Therefore, it is certainly worth comparing a few different models to find the one that's right for your driving style and needs.

If you're only out for lazy weekend drives with the top down, then you'll want a sporty little convertible car and don't need to worry about getting the most miles per gallon. But if you want an RX7 as your week-round car, then it pays to spend some time looking at efficiency and reliability.

The Mazda RX7's racing credentials make it an incredibly enjoyable drive on the road, whether you're nipping to the shops, on the way to work, or cruising around the coast. Sportier than most Mazda3 cars, this line offers a great balance of comfort, power, and efficiency. If you are looking for the perfect Mazda RX7 for your garage, you can find a fantastic range to choose.
