2010 Chapoutier Chateauneuf du Pape la Bernardine 1.5 L---WE-93. The best La Bernardine I can recall, this is a wonderfully full-bodied yet elegant rendering of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Garrigue and floral notes make a healthy impression on the nose, while the expansive herb and black cherry flavors linger on the silky finish.
