Silicone Bakeware

When you want to use baking pans other than metal or glass, consider purchasing silicone bakeware. Available in several shapes, most bakers find that baked goods and other foods don't stick to the silicone surface. Try one of these pans to bake a birthday cake or some other favourite delicacy to serve your family and mates who stop by. Furthermore, the bakeware doesn't rust and is safe to use in the microwave, freezer and dishwasher. Because the kitchen item is lightweight, most bakers use a tray underneath for added stability.

Silicone Muffin Forms

Fresh muffins are good to snack on any time of the day. Muffin form silicone bakeware withstands a range of cold and hot temperatures from -25 to 220 degrees Celsius. Most silicone bakeware only needs light or no greasing prior to baking. Likewise, muffin forms contain four or more cavities and bake evenly without burning the edges. Bakers also use the forms to make cupcakes.

Rectangular Silicone Bakeware

Rectangular silicone bakeware is available in waffle forms, flat trays and loaf pans. Use a waffle pan in an electric oven, microwave oven or convection oven as most pans measure 13cmW x 8cmL x 1.8cmH. Additionally, a flat tray or baking sheet accommodates cookies or frozen foods such as toast and pizzas. Use one in place of a cutting board to knead bread and pie doughs. You can use two loaf pans to prepare a meatloaf and homemade banana bread and serve a complete meal.

Round Silicone Bakeware

Many types of foods fit inside round silicone bakeware such as your favourite casserole recipe, cakes and breads. These flexible moulds are perfect for use in campers and RVs as well as your home kitchen. Moreover, they come in different-size diametres so they nestle easily inside a cupboard. Some are moulded into the shape of a bundt cake to make decorative desserts.
