Stainless Steel Dishwashers

The unsung hero of home appliances is the dishwasher. It cuts down on cleanup time and gets you out of the kitchen and back with the rest of your family in no time. Stainless steel full dishwashers do not just look good with any kitchen decor; they also last a long time. It's easy to find the perfect appliance for your kitchen by comparing a few features and deciding which is best for you. Big or small, there's one size to fit not only your kitchen setup but also the number of dishes you need it to hold.

Washing Options

All dishwashers have the three basic cycles of light, normal and heavy. However many offer specialised cycles that add extra cleaning power to ensure your plates and cups come out spotless.

Racks and Caddies

Modern dishwashers say yes to large utensils and odd shaped dishes by offering flexible loading features, including an optional third rack for whisks, cooking knives and tongs. Having adjustability allows you to accommodate large pots and tall glasses. Another good option to look at is a silverware caddy that you can remove, so you can change it from one place to another depending on where it fits best.

Noise Level

If the noise level is a large concern for your home, look for washers that offer a sound reduction package, which should include layers of insulation that absorb sound. Just about all of the older models are loud, but the newer ones are surprisingly much quieter, and often you can barely hear it running when in use.

Control Panel

There are two locations where you normally find the control panel. A fully integrated panel sits on the top edge of the door, while a semi-integrated panel is on the front of the dishwasher. The buttons you push are essential in choosing a wash cycle and starting the unit.
