The bottom of the pedestal has marking from the Danmark Studio on the bottom along with the BW (Bjorn Wiinblad), model V64, and the year made - 80 (1980). A very nice find for the Wiinblad or Danmark ceramics collector.
Height: 9cms (3 1/2" ins). Backstamp: Wedgwood Bone China. The vase features a floral design (possibly Golden Glory) in yellow and green with a delicate fluted pattern on the white areas. The floral pattern repeats front and back.
MALING Newcastle Upon Tyne England. Yellow lustre glaze with a border of lustre flowers, gold banding. PEONY ROSE. imperfect condition - light all over glaze crazing, rubbing to gold banding, 6mm chip to base - less visible when vase up right, little effect to display - see photos.
This dear little earthenware vase or eggcup dates from mid last century and was made in England. Having got that off my chest, it's a quality little piece, with red hiding hoods face on one side and the wolf on the other side.
