Wall Mounted Makeup Mirrors

When it comes to makeup mirrors, standing mirrors for makeup are perhaps the most common. These tiny mirrors often have two sides, and are flipped over for magnification. However, there are many different types of makeup mirrors that are easily mounted to the wall. Look for lighted mirrors, circular extended mirrors and mirrors with ample amounts of magnification to help you see better each morning.

Mirrors with Extenders

Often, if a mirror is mounted to the wall, you can’t quite get close enough to it to reap the benefits of its magnification or its placement. Because of this, many of the available wall-mountable makeup mirrors have extenders. This means that you actually mount the extender to the wall instead of the mirror and when you need to use it, you simply pull the arm forward so that the mirrors is closer to you. These mirrors also commonly have two sides, so you can choose the magnification settings.

Lighted Mirrors

Many of the wall-mounted mirrors also come with included LED lights as part of the mirror. Instead of having to depend on a different light source, this way the lights are illuminated around the mirror, so you can see better in the dark and even in the daylight. Look for wall-mounted mirrors that have multiple lights or one strong LED to help light the way.

Shapes

When it comes to makeup mirrors, there are several different common shapes available. Look for the round shape that looks similarly to standing mirrors or handheld mirrors for makeup. If your mirror does not have an extender, you can still mount it to the wall in a place where you don’t have to stretch and reach to get a good view.

Magnification

Nearly all makeup mirrors have some sort of magnification and wall-mounted types are no exception. If you need help seeing close up, opt for a mirror that gives you up to 8x magnification for the best help. Some mirrors also include magnification sensors to help guide the way.
