Wide C D W ASICS Athletic Shoes for Women

Feet come in different shapes and sizes so when buying women’s athletics shoes, it is important to get a style that will fit your foot correctly. If you have visible bulging or stretching in your shoes, it may mean that you need to go for a wider fit. In some brands, you might possibly need to wear a men’s shoe to get the width that you need but luckily, ASICS women’s athletic shoes have many models with a wide fit size. Wearing the correct size shoe will enable you to do any sporting activity in comfort and with confidence.

Widths

ASICS categorises its women’s athletic shoes by the widths. A normal size for women is B, wide is D and extra wide is 2E. Alternatively, women with narrow feet will need a 2A.

ASICS Gel

Many of the most popular wide-fit women’s athletics shoes come in the ASICS Gel range. Included in the range is the Gel Cumulus, which has superior comfort and gives your foot a smooth ride with Convergence Gel Technology and Rearfoot Gel Cushioning Technology. The Cumulus also has a removable sock liner that gives you extra cushioning and provides moisture wicking. The Gel Nimbus has FlyteFoam Technology for outstanding comfort and your foot’s natural motion strategically loosens or tightens the jacquard-mesh upper.

ASICS GT

The ASICS GT series also provide wide-fit options. The GT 2000 5 is great for you if you are a long distance runner. It has a FluidRide midsole which provides cushioning and bounce back and a Guidance Line construction to enhance your gait efficiency. The ASICS GT 2000 5 Trail is a versatile trail shoe that is lighter than the original model with excellent breathability and traction.

Pronation

You may have heard of pronation before but not known what it meant. It refers to the way your foot rolls and how it affects weight distribution when landing. Knowing what your pronation type is will help you to find a shoe that is comfortable and helps you to exercise safely.
