Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends LEGO Duplo sets were released from 2005 to 2009 and some are now very hard to find. The Engines and sets are based on the popular Thomas and Friends characters from The Railway Series books by Rev. W. Awdry.

What is LEGO Duplo?  LEGO Duplo building toys are specially designed for children aged 18 months to 5 years. They are called Duplo because the dimensions are double the size of standard LEGO bricks. We stock a range of sets, tracks and spare parts and can also help you source any missing parts.
The Thomas engines are compatible with all LEGO Duplo train tracks and all general Duplo trains, wheeled bases and accessories. Some sets include Bluish Grey curved and straight tracks. The James set # 5552 also includes a switch point and track end buffer.
Many of the Thomas series sets were released without instructions. Sets which include station platforms can usually be built based on the pictures but if you need assistance some instructions are available as downloads from the LEGO site.
