Thanks for your interest in becoming a Certified eBay Educator (CeE). To obtain certification as an eBay Educator you must successfully complete an online exam, correctly answering a minimum of 25 out of 30 questions. The online exam is "open book" and you have unlimited time to complete it.
We¡¯ve attached a copy of the contract you will be required to sign should you pass the exam. Please review the contract which outlines the terms and conditions for operating as a Certified eBay Educator.

In order to complete your qualification, you must:

  1. Successfully complete the online exam (this will be an annual requirement)
  2. Read through and agree to the terms of the contract
  3. Print and sign 2 copies of the contract
  4. Return the 2 signed contracts to eBay (address will be supplied after successful completion of exam)
Qualification will not be complete until eBay has received a copy of the 2 signed contracts.

Once eBay receives the signed contracts you will be sent a certificate of registration and granted access to the new CeE logo. A list of approved texts will also be provided as well as approval to download information directly from the eBay site. In addition, you will also be granted access to an exclusive Approved Courses category within eBay Services where you will be able to advertise your upcoming classes.

If you fail to correctly answer a minimum of 25 questions in the Certified eBay Educator exam, you will be sent an email notification which will provide you with the opportunity to re-sit the exam. This must be done within 12 months of the receipt of the email. A second fail will exclude you from the program for a period of 12 months.
