Amazing!
This is a fantastic read! Packed FULL of the trademark wit, satire and humour, this is rollicking good fun! True- I'm not a fan of all the Discworld books- some bore me a little way in- but not this one. Definitely one of the best

Disappointing
Not nearly as entertaining as the earlier stories (there seems to have been a marked deterioration in the storylines at around the year of publishing of 2000). This story concerns a criminal who is allowed to escape the death penalty by being given a job as postmaster, which no-one else wants, on the proviso that he makes a success of the job. No wit, no humour and no amusing asides, as there are in the earliest tales.
